Freeing the Information

Freedom of information, such heavy words, that needs to be defined in such a way that it has different meanings for each part of the world.

We’re used to waiting for someone to give us the information we want. There are very few who actually look for answers themselves. With all our busy schedules, it’s a wonder how any ordinary person would have the time to look for answers to life’s questions.

But what if we could provide the information ourselves? What if we didn’t have to wait for someone to give us the information we want?

I recently designed some webpages that would allow us common folk to collect tax payment information from businesses and individual taxpayers. I suppose I just got tired of trying to find out just how much of my daily spending is actually being used to pave roads or pay for someone else’s salary or provide the budget to pay for a whole school building. So I thought, why not ask everyone to pitch in and post their own information. Maybe if we put them together, we might be able to get the answers that are not made available to us.
