It would seem that is easier to stay anonymous as a mistress than a sensible blogger. People find it easier to keep a mistress’ identity as a secret than not divulging an anonymous blogger’s identity. Which made me wonder if it would be easier to keep my identity as a blogger by becoming someone’s mistress. Then no one would dare say my name when they find out who I am. LOL
Then I thought better of it and just thought of how having a mistress or the male version of a mistress is a liability in more ways than one.
When I go shopping, I don’t want any mistresses to be around the same shop I am in. Why? Because they would be trying to buy the things I would be buying either to imitate me or to spite me. Imitate because they know whatever it is I would be buying would be in good taste. Spite because they would try to buy what I want first so I won’t get to buy it. And shopping that way would turn any spouse’s spending power into liabilities than assets. For the simple reason that there is no such thing as a pre-mistress arrangement. There is a pre-nuptial arrangement to protect assets. But when a spouse buys something for their illicit affairs, they risk their spending power and turn it into useless purchases. Why?
Because they have transferred ownership of that purchased item to someone whom they have no legal ties to. Thus the mistress whether male or female, can choose to sell the item and keep the profits, keep the item even after splitting up with the person who gave it to them, or give it away to anyone they want, even if it’s another lover. So, if they are given a gift of art or expensive clothing or jewelry, the giver can never claim it as an asset.
Then there is also the matter of letting the mistress know family matters and even where you live. It would also become a liability because the mistress can secretly sabotage your house and even vehicles when you are not around. A simple planting of a termite colony anywhere in the house or scratching the paint of the car would cost money for repairs. That’s assets lowered in value really fast. Even the simple influencing of house help can be a liability as they are the ones who can easily do damage with the house, the things inside the house, and even family members’ health, education, and values.
But then again being able to bang and screw them in any way is worth any amount of liability. Even if it can result to the need to find cures for venereal diseases and the need for colonoscopies. What’s even more amusing is the thought of the mistresses getting pregnant and then dumping your illegitimate children with you while they run away with another lover. Now that’s a long-term liability indeed!
So then when I shop or see other people’s things I usually categorize them as either an asset, a liability or a commo-dirty.
I also have gained respect for spouses who choose to satisfy themselves by themselves when their spouses are away or unable to be intimate. Because they have found a way to circumvent purchasing a liability and protecting their assets.
